We’re back with another Day in the Life with Universal — featuring Justin, Property Manager at The Villas at Boone Ridge!
Justin began his journey with Universal Living in maintenance in 2019 and worked his way up to leading the team at Boone Ridge as Property Manager. His story is a great example of growth, leadership, and dedication within our organization.

Pool season is officially here! ☀️🏊♂️
Our community pool is now open for residents and their accompanied guests to enjoy. As you head out for some fun in the sun, please help us keep the pool area safe and enjoyable for everyone:
• Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult
• No food, alcohol, glassware, or animals permitted in the pool area
• No running or diving
• First aid kits are available in the clubhouse
• Adults should avoid swimming alone

We love our pets at Universal Living! But this month one community has gone above and beyond to show compassion to our four-legged friends:
Universal at Lakewood partnered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society for their “Paws for a Purpose” campaign, collecting donations from residents to support local animals in need. 🐾
As a special thank-you, the Humane Society named an adoptable pup “Lake” after the community. Universal at Lakewood is excited to share that Lake has officially found a forever home. ❤️
A special thank-you as well to resident Matthew Wall for helping coordinate the campaign with the team. We are so proud of the team and residents at Universal at Lakewood for helping make a difference!

Our very first multifamily community was Princeton Place Townhomes. Just four units laid the foundation for the apartment communities we continue to build and manage today.
Even more special? We still have a resident living at Princeton Place who has been there since the very beginning!

Progress is happening below the surface at Altitude @ 101 Apartment Homes in Arden, NC! 🚧
This week, crews are installing a large underground stormwater management system that will help control runoff, improve drainage, and support the long-term sustainability of the future community.
While these systems may eventually be hidden underground, they are one of the most important parts of site development and play a huge role in protecting both the property and surrounding environment.
